Our history
Gee Brothers belongs to a tradition of fine printing that goes back to 1960.
It began, as these things often do, with a gift, a small Adana press given to a boy for his seventh birthday. Andrew Pearson-Gee went on to build a printing business around it, one in which nearly every member of his family worked at some point. It took the name Gee Brothers in 1999, when his brother William joined. Over the years the name became known for careful work and personal service. It printed the wedding invitations, correspondence cards and writing paper that mark life's quiet occasions as well as its larger ones. In time, The Letterpress of Cirencester joined it.
Gee Brothers today
The name is now carried by Gee Brothers London Limited, and you will find us in Mayfair. The trade was learned here, from the people who learned it from the family.
We print wedding, personal and corporate stationery using the processes that have always defined the work.
Paper comes from mills we trust, and every order is made to order and finished by hand.
How we work
We are deliberately unhurried. Good stationery depends on small decisions: the weight of a card, the depth of an impression, the spacing of a line. So we take the time to get them right with you.
Our designers will work from your ideas and wording, advise where it helps, and send a proof for you to check. Up to three rounds of minor adjustments are included.
