Maps & directions

For events that are taking place off the beaten track, a map and or directions are invaluable and should be sent out with the invitations. Maps can be produced in any of the following ways:
- Designed on a computer (can be expensive)
- Obtained from Ordnance Survey (with permission) and printed in either black and white or full colour.
- Photocopied (with permission)
- Scanned from your copy and then printed
- Hand drawn (see below)

This is an example of a large scale map suitable to guide travellers to the rough area.

Hand-drawn maps
Hand-drawn maps start at about £150 and rise in proportion to the level of detail required. If the artist is required to visit the area and sketch all the landmarks costs will be much higher. It is however straightforward if photographs can be supplied of all the land marks required for inclusion. Our artist is a qualified cartographer with huge experience. Such maps can be re-used time and time again and the original framed; they should therefore be regarded as a long term investment rather than a one-off cost.



What we need from you
If you want us to do a map, please supply the full postcode of the map's central point (or as near as you can get to it) and supply a sketch showing which locations you want to be 'arrowed'. You can also email/post us directions and lists of accommodation or whatever else is required.
